About the project

Sono ao Volante 2.0 predicts drowsiness at the wheel and detects chronic sleep disturbance or deprivation. A wrist device captures heart rate via photoplethysmography (PPG), blood oxygen (SpO₂) and motion (accelerometer/gyroscope); these signals drive continuous monitoring and an alert when the driver is forecast to show signs of sleep.
